Privacy for the shared PokerWorks platform.

Current operator posture: PokerWorks platform team (beta operations)
PokerWorks is the shared platform behind PokerDeck, Drop In Poker, PokerCanyon. This page explains how PokerWorks handles account, authentication, gameplay, and technical data when those products use shared platform services such as Google sign-in.
PokerWorks ("we", "us", "our") provides the shared platform services used by branded poker products built on PokerWorks. Brand-specific products may have additional product terms or feature-specific disclosures, but this page is the canonical privacy surface for the shared PokerWorks identity and authentication layer.
During beta, the shared platform surface described here is operated by the PokerWorks platform team. If a stricter product-specific legal-entity disclosure becomes necessary for launch, regulated operation, or a given jurisdiction, the public trust surface must be updated explicitly rather than assumed from brand marketing copy.
What data we collect
- Account and identity data: email address, display name, account ids, authentication metadata, and linked provider identity details needed to operate sign-in.
- Google sign-in data: if you use Google sign-in, PokerWorks receives the verified email address and basic profile data permitted by the active Google scopes.
- Gameplay and product data: table, tournament, presence, lobby, and gameplay events required to operate the relevant PokerWorks product.
- Technical and security data: device/browser information, IP address, session metadata, and operational diagnostics used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
How we use data
- Authenticate users and operate shared account flows across PokerWorks products.
- Provide gameplay, lobby, tournament, billing, and support functionality.
- Protect platform integrity, investigate abuse, and maintain service reliability.
- Send transactional communications related to account access or product operation.
Google account data
PokerWorks uses Google account data only to support sign-in and account access for PokerWorks-branded products. We do not sell Google account data. We do not use Google account data for unrelated advertising. If the shared Google-auth posture changes materially, the public trust surface and linked runtime/docs should change with it.
Cookies and local storage
PokerWorks products use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for authentication, gameplay continuity, and session management. Optional analytics or support tooling may be enabled on specific product surfaces where disclosed. Browser controls remain available to you, but disabling required storage can break sign-in or gameplay.
Sharing and subprocessors
PokerWorks uses trusted infrastructure and product subprocessors such as hosting, databases, email delivery, and analytics providers where needed to run the service. Those providers act only to deliver the platform and are not free to use the data for unrelated purposes.
Retention and deletion
PokerWorks retains account and platform data while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for operational, security, and legal purposes. Account deletion and anonymisation are controlled operational workflows. Where deletion is approved, PokerWorks removes or scrubs identity data while preserving only the minimum platform and audit history required to keep completed gameplay and operator evidence coherent.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal data. We verify requests before acting on them to protect account security and platform integrity.
Children
PokerWorks is not directed to children below the minimum age required in the relevant jurisdiction. Do not use PokerWorks products if you do not meet the applicable age requirement.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform, products, or legal posture changes. Material changes to shared account or identity handling should be reflected here and, where appropriate, surfaced in the relevant product experience.
